The Kelly Residence
Located behind private gates in La Cañada Flintridge’s prestigious Upper Deodar neighborhood, The Kelly Residence is a historic Spanish hacienda offering exceptional privacy, timeless California character, and sophisticated indoor-outdoor living. Designed in 1925 by renowned architect Arthur Rolland Kelly as his personal residence, the home was later thoughtfully expanded and restored by Michael Burch Architects.
Available fully furnished for $22,500 per month or unfurnished for $15,000 per month. The residence spans three levels and features four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, four half bathrooms, maid’s quarters, and additional flexible rooms that may be used as bedrooms, offices, or studios. Distinctive architectural details include arched hallways, wrought-iron railings, vaulted ceilings, hand-carved, stenciled, and exposed wood beams, Saltillo tile and hardwood flooring, a decorative tiled staircase, built-in bookshelves, and a private study with a fireplace.
The chef’s kitchen features marble countertops and premium stainless-steel appliances by Sub-Zero, Thermador, and Miele, including a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. The interior also offers formal living and dining rooms, a spacious family room, office space, and a loft-style upper level.
Additional amenities include an in-unit washer and dryer, five-zone central air conditioning, a security system, multiple balconies and terraces, a heated lap pool with an adjacent Jacuzzi and spa, a three-car attached garage, and an electric security gate.
Surrounded by mature trees and lush landscaping, the property offers beautiful views of the downtown Los Angeles skyline and a rare sense of seclusion while remaining conveniently located near Pasadena, Downtown Los Angeles, Burbank Studios, and Hollywood.
